We want to ensure that you feel supported at UCIC. If you ever need to make a complaint, we first suggest you try to address it with the help of a staff member.
Simply ask for a chat with a staff member—teacher, Student Welfare Officer, or someone from Student Services. We try to keep these conversations relaxed and aim for a quick fix. You are free to bring a friend as a support person.
The next step is to work together to find a fix. We’ll suggest a solution and loop in the other side if needed.
Alternatively if you still feel unheard, you have access to the Formal Complaints Form. Send it in within five working days. You can grab the form at Alice Candy or email us at student_services@ucic.ac.nz.
